Two days ago we reported the W205 C class wagon will be released in this year’s Paris Motor Show in October.

Today we bring you the good news that, if you are waiting to buy the new C wagon your wait is shorter now: Mercedes will announced the new wagon two weeks later, on May 23.

But we are not sure whether Mercedes will bring this model to US side, so this may be good news only for European readers at this moment.

Here are some latest spy shots of the latest Mercedes wagon.

The 2015 K900 and Genesis is a big step forward for the Hyundai Motor Company. Not only because of its superb crash testing performance, but also some key components are all developed by Hyundai itself.

For example the AWD system (called “HTRAC”) are developed in-house, so does the 8-speed transmission. Especially for the 8AT, its design is totally different from the ZF, GM and Aisin units. The Hyundai 8AT uses 4 planetary gear sets and 7 shifting elements (5 clutches, including a one-way clutch and 2 brakes). It is more complicated than any of the other similar units...

Below are two rendering of the new generation of the W223 E Class, which is expected to be in the market during 2016. The current information we have for the US market W223 E Class are:

– Inline 6-cylinder engine
– 9G-Tronic 9-speed automatic transmission
– Similar electronic features to the S Class

Today comes updates to the future BMW M2:

– Start of production in late 2015;
– Used a N55 based 6 cylinder turbo engine, 365-375 hp

The M2 is a must-do for BMW because Mercedes-Benz will introducing the 367hp W205 C450 next year. Without the M2, currently BMW has no product to compete with the Mercedes rival.

The reason why BMW not take the turbo 4 cylinder engine route for M2 may due to:

1. Larger turbo lag for the 4 cylinder engine to achieve same output;
2. Excessive developement cost to overcome the shortcoming mentioned in #1.
