The Scion Reorganization: Retirements and New Members

Today news spreads out that, Toyota is planning a big model reorganization for its Scion brand. Following are the details.

Scion xB: replaced by a variant of the Toyota Auris, in 2015.

Toyota Corolla Hybrid Is Coming in 2015

Our source told us the news that, Toyota is working on the hybrid powertrain for the latest hot-selling Corolla, and the new Corolla family member will be officially announced in 2015 as a 2016 model.

We are not sure which market will get the Corolla Hybrid, but it has been confirmed from our source that Chinese customer will see it and Toyota’s China factory is now preparing its equipments for production.

Toyota will reveal a new mid-size sedan on 4/18

Toyota is going to release a new mid-size sedan, which is believed to sit between the Corolla and Camry, in the Chinese market.

To see why this makes a business case, first let’s see what the competition in the market right now is. In China, Honda has a model called Crider, which fill the gap between the Civic and Accord. It has a 104.3 inches wheelbase and comes with the 1.8L engine which it shares with the Civic. The Crider has a MacPherson front suspension, and a torsion beam for the rear suspension. A normal Crider carries a MSRP which approximately half the price of an Audi A3 sedan.

If your car is totaled and you need to take care of it yourself, do not sell the whole car to the junk yard.
