It has already been 3 years since the second generation Chrylser 300 was introduced back in 2011, we all know this means the full size sedan is due for a mid-cycle renew this year.

Today Chrysler confirmed that the refreshed 300 will bow at this November’s Los Angeles auto show. There will be no major mechanical changes, and the refresh is mainly focus on exterior/interior appearance, electronic features/gadgets.

The 3.6L 292hp V6 and also the 5.7L HEMI V8, which has 370hp will be carried over to the 2015 model...

Since Dodge can do a SRT Hellcat trim for the Challenger, there is no technical issue that will prevent Dodge from putting the same powertrain in any of its rear-wheel-drive models.

So obviously we are not surprised that now Dodge has announced the 2015 Charger SRT Hellcat with the same 707hp engine. Today Dodge released the pricing of the 2015 Challenger, of course the focus is on the 707hp SRT Hellcat.

From the below photo taken live at the scene, the engine output of 707 hp is a big selling point for Dodge.

I bet GM would not be happy to see this photo, because Dodge also highlighted the Corvette Z06 on that slides. Looks familiar to something you have seen before? Right, what hurts GM more is that, the slide shown by Dodge here, is directly borrowed from the one when Chevrolet  announced the new Corvette Stingray Z06, see below:

Remember when Dodge officially announced the 2015 Challenger more than one month ago, it said the SRT model will come with “600-plus horsepower”.

Today it turns out the “600-plus” figure is way too conservative, because Dodge officailly released the final number: 707 hp, with 650 lb-ft of torque.

This is surprising, because 707 is excessively more than “600 plus”.

But this is not surprising too, because with the help of force induction you can achieve whatever level of output you want, theoretically speaking. Since Mercedes-Benz can pump out 360hp from the 2.0L displacement engine in the CLA45 AMG, why should not Dodge get 707hp from a displacement of 6...
