Facelifted 2015 Audi RS7 Official Image Released

The facelifted 2015 model year RS7 is the same as the current 2014 one, mechanically speaking, which carries the same turbocharged 4.0L V8 engine, with 560 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque. Transmission will be the ZF-sourced 8-speed unit, sending power via Audi’s Quattro AWD system.

The major difference is in its exterior, with a new angular shape of front LED headlight housing unit, new radiator grille and new bumper.

The 2015 RS7 will be on sale in this autumn. US price will be announced when the sale date is approaching.

Audi Announced Facelifted Euro Market A7 and S7

Today Audi revealed the mid-cycle refreshed A7 and S7 – for the European market. However, we believe the exterior appearance will be the same for the US market.

Upfront the grill has slight changes with the headlights. The DRL shape is different and the look of the headlight is clearly optimized for LED optioned low beam and high beam lights. In the back, the taillights has style tweaks to match the front light.

Why the Audi RS3 Concept Is A Big Deal

Yesterday VW revealed the A3 Clubsport Quattro – which is believed to be a concept prototype of the upcoming RS3 sedan.

The biggest news comes from the concept car is its 525hp 5-cylinder turbo engine. From my point of view, this is a revolution in the market. The reason is: VW is able to pump out 525hp from the 2.5-litre displacement, using only 1.5 bar pressure of turbo boost, this translates to 212hp per litre. For comparison, the Mercedes-Benz M133 engine which is used on the CLA45AMG, is using a much higher 1.8 bar of boost, but can only achieve 181hp per litre.
