The List: 300-Horsepower Hot Hatch

“Hot hatch” is the high-performance variant of a hatchback car model, which can be either a 3 or 5-door. One key feature of the hot hatch is its higher-output engine. Due to typical size and weight of a hot hatch, its engine output rarely goes above 400hp. At this moment, a hatchback with more than 300hp can be considered a “serious” hot hatch.

Today Ford released the pricing for its newly-redesigned F150 pickup truck, below are details:

F-150 XL: base MSRP $26,615
F-150 XLT: base MSRP $31,890
F-150 Lariat: base MSRP $39,880
F-150 King Ranch: base MSRP $49,460
F-150 Platinum: base MSRP $52,155

One of the biggest change for the new F-150 is its aluminum body construction, which can save up to 700 lbs of weight from the current generation, according to Ford.

Report: 2015 Ford F-150 Engine Information

There will be multiple engine options for the 2015 Ford F-150 truck, today Ford released some information about the V6 engine options.

Two V6 engines will be offered for the 2015 model:

– 3.5L naturally aspirated V6, 283 hp and 255 lb-ft of torque: this will be the entry-level option, when the F150 is equipped with this engine, its maximum payload is 1,910 lbs and towing capacity reaches 7,600 lbs.

– 2.7L EcoBoost turbo V6, 325 hp and 375 lb-ft of torque, with stop/start feature. Maximum payload is 2,250 lbs and it can tow a maximum of 8,500 lbs.
