Looks like these days are prime times that auto makers release their new product pricing. Today along with the 2015 Lexus NX, Dodge also announced its pricing for the 2015 Charger.

It has already been 3 years since the second generation Chrylser 300 was introduced back in 2011, we all know this means the full size sedan is due for a mid-cycle renew this year.

Today Chrysler confirmed that the refreshed 300 will bow at this November’s Los Angeles auto show. There will be no major mechanical changes, and the refresh is mainly focus on exterior/interior appearance, electronic features/gadgets.

The 3.6L 292hp V6 and also the 5.7L HEMI V8, which has 370hp will be carried over to the 2015 model...

Since Dodge can do a SRT Hellcat trim for the Challenger, there is no technical issue that will prevent Dodge from putting the same powertrain in any of its rear-wheel-drive models.

So obviously we are not surprised that now Dodge has announced the 2015 Charger SRT Hellcat with the same 707hp engine. The biggest change to the refreshed Charger is its exterior. From the official image you may find that its front and rear looks like the Dodge Dart. LED lighting becomes a normal norm for the auto industry nowadays, so does Dodge.

Major changes:

– ZF sourced 8-speed automatic transmission is standard on all trims (while the current 2014 model has the old 5-speed transmission as standard equipment); Sport mode can shift within 250ms (a reduction from 400ms)

– AWD can be had for the base SE and SXT trim; but 5.7L V8 engine is RWD only
