BMW Changed The Free Maintenance Program Policy for 2015 Models

Starting from this month (July 2014), BMW has changed its free maintenance program policy for all 2015 models sold in the US after July 1st.

The major change is: the program will only cover the BMW new car’s initial purchaser, owner, or lessee. This means although you sold your new BMW when the program is still valid for you, the 2nd owner will not be eligible for the free maintenance program.

There is one exception: if you transfer the car title to another person in your household (a person live in the same place as your vehicle registering address), called “household transfer” in BMW’s term, then the program can still be applied on the new owner.

Report: 2016 Lexus RX Will Come with Aisin 8AT as Standard

Our Lexus insider told us that, the 4th-generation of the RX, which is scheduled to be revealed next year as a 2016 model, will not only come with the 3rd-row seating option, but also will be equipped with the Aisin 8-speed automatic transmission, for non-hybrid models.

This is not a surprising news, because the redesigned 2015 Volvo XC90 will come wi...
