The All New 2015 Crosstrek

Yesterday, Subaru released the pricing and option list for the 2015 model year XV Crosstrek, for the US market. Below are major changes for the new model year:

– Entry-level model added: the XV Crosstrek 2.0i, only 5-speed manual transmission offered, starting at $21,595
– The Subaru EyeSight technology is available
– New multimedia system
– Backup camera is now standard on all trims

Today, Acura officially unveiled the details of the 2016 ILX, one major selling point is its new powertrain. Currently the “old” Acura ILX has two engine choices. The 5-speed automatic transmission only has a 2.0L 4-cylinder engine that is available, producing 150hp and 140 lb-ft of torque. If you want more power, you can only get the 6-speed manual transmission, which comes with a 2.4L 4-cylinder engine, output is raised to 201hp and 170 lb-ft of torque.
