Apple Is Going to Make Cars?

On last Friday night, Wall Street Journal published an article saying Apple is very likely going to design and produce its own cars, based on the following observation:

1. There are several hundred employees working on the project currently;
2. Apple has been in contact with Magna Steyr (an Austria OEM factory specialized in building high-end cars)
3. Apple has hired some experts who have previously worked in other major auto makers

While the above arguments strongly suggest Apple’s intention of making cars, this does not mean it is 100% committing to this matter...

2015 Audi RS3 Sportback UK Pricing Released

Audi has announced its latest RS3 Sportback hot hatch back in last Decemeber. Today it published the pricing: the RS3 Sportback starts at £39,950.

The 8V-generation RS3 Sportsback is equipped with Audi’s most powerful 5-cylinder engine.  With the help from the turbocharger, the 2.5L engine outputs a maximum of 367ps, with 343 lb-ft or torque from a broad range of 1,625 RPM to 5,550 RPM. According to Audi, the RS3 Sportback can reach 62mph within 4.3 seconds, and go all the way up to a top speed of 174mph.

2016 Toyota Avalon Gets Minor Upgrades

Toyota has announced the detailed information for its 2016 Avalon in Chicago auto show today.

The biggest mechanical update is in the retuned suspension (Toyota developed two version for the 2016 models, one for XLE through Limited; another for the Touring trim). There are other minor cosmetic changes such as the LED lights (including the optional LED headlight) .
