Latest BMW M2 Information

It has been almost 2 months since we report the news of the BMW M2. Many things happened during the past months, for example the upcoming Audi RS3 was estimated to offer around 400hp.

It looks like BMW is following up the competition, and adjusted the engine power range. The latest news says the BMW M2 will have 374 – 395 hp, and the energy will comes from a modified version of the 3.0L turbo 6-cylinder N55 engine. Please note that this is just and estimation and it is not officially confirmed by BMW at this moment.

Report: Toyota Hydrogen Fuel Cell Electric Sedan On Sale 2015 Summer

Today Toyota announced their sales plan for their hydrogen fuel cell vehicle, the Toyota FCV.

Hydrogen fuel cell is a new kind of energy source that powers the electric motor. It accelerates exactly the same way as other electric cars; the difference is when you refuel, the FCV just need 3 to 5 minutes to fill up the hydrogen tank, so you do not need to wait half an hour or several hour to recharge, which is required for other pure battery-powered electric cars such as the Tesla Model S.

2016 Subaru Forester Will Come with 1.6T Engine

The Subaru-developed 1.6L turbocharged flat-4 engine (code name: FB16 DIT) has been used in the Japanese domestic market model Subaru Levorg, for quite a while.

Today insider news indicates Subaru is planning to put the same engine on the brand’s popular model Forester. From the following official engine power curve, it shows the engine is rated at 168 hp@4800-5600rpm, with peak torque 184 lb-ft achieved between 1800-4800rpm.

Lexus Is Developing Double-Clutch Transmission for RC-F and IS-F

Toyota Motorsport GmbH (a.k.a TMG), the Köln Germany-based motorsport division of the Toyota Group, told Australian media that they are developing a double-clutch transmission for the company’s Lexus brand.

According to Rob Leupen, business operations director of TMG, in the next 2 or 3 years we should be able to see the TMG-developed DCT on the Lexus RC-F, and also the next generation of IS-F.

For the IS-F, Leupen also hinted that the redesigned IS-F may use hybrid powertrain technologies.

Today we got a set of latest spy shots of the upcoming W205 C63 AMG sedan.

From the photos we can see the following details:

– AMG quad exhausts (even though you see only one pipe on each side, but the size of the opening in the rear bumper indicates quad-exhaust arrangement on production version);
– P255/40R18 rear wheel tire size;
– Leather wrapped/stitched dash board;
– Adjustable suspension control near in the center console;
