The all-new 2015 Volvo XC90 has been a hot topic in the auto industry since last May, when Volvo began to release details of the new SUV. And of course we have covered the whole story since the first day when the interior images were released, and also when the powertrain spec were available, to the latest crash test results.
Yesterday, the first production 2015 XC90 has rolled off the assembling line in Torslandaverken (The Torslanda Works – one of the largest Volvo factories which is located in Torslanda, Sweden). From the below gallery images you can see the first production model is a US-spec XC90 (notice the orange color reflector in the headlamp housing).
The production of each 2015 XC90 takes the Torslanda factory 42 hours to complete, and the factory is currently producing a total of 700 cars each day (including all Volvo models such as XC90, XC70, V70, V60, S60, S80 etc.)
