I am pretty sure you will not see the 2015 Infiniti Q70L on the road very easily. People who are looking for a full-size luxury sedan will typically go for the Mercedes-Benz S-class, BMW 7 Series, Audi A8 and also the Lexus LS. The Infiniti Q70L is actually based on a mid-size sedan with stretched wheelbase to make it qualify for the “full size” category.
I have checked out the 2015 Q70L during last month’s Orange County auto show.
From the outside, you can tell it is a long-wheelbase Q70 by: 1. the “Q70L” badge on the rear trunk lid; 2. the visually long length of the car body’s side profile.

I did not move the driver seat forward to make room for the rear seat. Here is the position of the driver seat when I took the above photo for the rear seat.
Frankly speaking, I am really impressed by the 2015 Infiniti q70L interior design, material used and the assembly quality. For example, the wood trim on the center console – the texture and visual effect is superb! (although the bezel around the transmission shifter may remind you of the Nissan Altima)
There are also lots of wood trim around the cabin. Attention has been paid to many details, for example there is a chrome line on top of the wood trim, which is around the dash.
The armrest is wrapped with stitched leather, and you also get memory seats with two settings. These are features that luxury cars should come standard nowadays.
I like the dash design very much, although the upper part is just made of soft plastic, the visual effect is very close to the leather. Anyway, I suggest Infiniti put leather wrapping on the upper part of the dash because even the 2015 Camry XSE/XLE has it.
Here is the instrument cluster, it looks like other Infiniti cars. I rented a G37 two years ago, if I do not look carefully, I cannot tell the difference of the instrument cluster between these two cars.
