For those who is rich enough and want to buy a SUV whose engine has the most cylinders, now comes one of the ultimate choices: the 2016 Mercedes-Benz G65 AMG with a twin-turbo 6.0L V12 engine.
The G65 AMG is not a new creation, because Mercedes-Benz has released in other markets back in 2012. The V12 monster has 612 hp and 737 lb-ft of torque, routed to its four wheels via a 7-speed automatic transmission. Official 0-100kmh (0-62mph) time is 5.3 seconds and top speed is 143mph.
You may wonder why the 612hp SUV only has a 143mph limited speed: that is because the high drag coefficient caused by the boxed-shaped exterior, and also the suitability of its suspension setup to operate at speed higher than 150mph, which is a safety concern.
If you are interested in the G65 AMG, prepare at least $250k cash, or has some means of financing that can guarantee such amount.
