The current generation of BMW 5-series (F10) is close to the end of its life cycle, and BMW will officially announce its successor (G10 5-series) in 2016 as a 2017 model.
We have covered some preliminary details of the next-gen M5 in our previous report. Today we see two more news about the G10 5-series:
1. A turbocharged 3-cylinder engine will be joining the 5-series product line
2. The G10 M5 will has at least 626hp from a turbocharged V8 engine
The M5 will be coming out 1 to 2 years after the “standard” G10 5-series goes on sale, we will update you with any news we heard down the road.
