The Mercedes-Benz GLA class is based on the CLA sedan (they even has exactly the same wheel base length), which rides on a FWD platform.

GLA250 FWD: base MSRP $31,300 (currently this trim is not shown on MBUSA.com website)
GLA250 4Matic: base MSRP $33,300
GLA45 AMG: base MSRP $48,300

If you are shopping for a compact luxury SUV, currently there are quite a lot of choices. They all have base MSRP starting around $30k, and some of them are even new candidates in the competition (newly designed, newly introduced models):

Today Mercedes-Benz also released the completely-new 2015 C class pricing for US market. Before discussing the price please pay attention that starting from the 2015 model year, the C class will be build in Mercedes’ US factory, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

Pricing data:

C300 RWD (available in 2015 Spring): base MSRP $38,400
C300 4Matic (available this September): base MSRP $40,400
C400 4Matic (available this September): base MSRP $48,590

Destination charge: $925

The C300 will be equipped with a 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo engine, 241 hp and 273 lb-ft of torque.

The C400 will see the 3.0L twin-turbo V6 engine which is good for 329 hp and 354 lb-ft of torque.

The upcoming Mercedes-Benz AMG GT is the successor of the current SLS AMG.

According to Mercedes-Benz, the AMG GT will be smaller, lighter and the most important – cheaper, compared to the SLS AMG.  There are already many spy shots of the AMG GT’s exterior. Today we got the first real photo of its cabin and center console:

Like other latest Mercedes-Benz vehicles, the AMG GT will come with the iPad style, center-mounted LCD screen; the round AC vents are also present.

2015 Audi Q3 US Ordering Guide

The S55 engine-equipped 2015 BMW M3 and M4 has been for sale for a while.

However, before looking at the below two technical documents from BMW, I bet you do not know the M3 and M4 in such depth. These two official documents provides precious details about these M cars and its heart: the S55 engine.

For example, some of the major differences between the S55 engine and the N55 engine (which is found in all BMW *35i models), are: 1. the S55 has closed deck crankcase, and the N55 is open deck; 2. the S55 has LDS-coated aluminum cylinder liners, while the N55 is using cast iron liners.
