Major changes are:

1. Sport leather steering wheel is standard on all models (previously you need to pay $2,000 – $3,150  to opt for luxury line/modern line/M Sport line to get it);

2. LED fog light is standard (you also need to shell out $2,000 – $3,150 to get the whole packages to get it too);

3. Comfort access (aka. key-less entry) is standard on 550i and 550i xDrive models (previously belongs to the executive package or premium package, price range from $1,500 to $4,300);

4. A big plus for 2015 550i/550i xDrive models: if you ticked the $4,300 executive package option (which is priced the same as 2014 model), you will also get the leather-wrapped dashboard (option code: 4M5)! This option is non-exist for 2014 models (excluding the M5). With more and more luxury cars (and even non-luxury cars) have leather-wrapped or something looks like leather-wrapped for the dashboard, you definitely need such treatment to your 5 series to make it look upscale, IMO. Please pay attention that this is limited to the sedan only, the 550i Gran Turismo is not applicable (but the executive package price dropped by $800 for 5 series GT).

5. A new display symbol in the instrument cluster for heated steering wheel;

6. Light fineline wood trim is deleted;

7. Night vision w/ pedestrian detection price dropped from $2,600 to $2,300.

Below is the 5-series 2015 model year MSRP:

There is around $950 price increase compared to the 2014 models, that is because more features which are optional previously now become standard for 2015. If you want to compare them to the 2014 price, please refer to the 2014 5-series order guide here.
