We all know there will be a new 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo engine debuts together with the upcoming 2015 Lexus NX.

There is more information coming from AutoWeek today. Here are the summary and a little bit of our analysis.

– This engine will also work similar to the RC-F’s V8, the way the valvetrain design will use the Atkinson cycle to improve fuel efficiency during low load situation, and switch back to the normal Otto cycle under heavier acceleration requirements. Lexus named this valve technology to be “VVT-iW”

– It is the first time the hybrid cycle mode (Atkinson <=> Otto cycle) paired with the turbo application

As expected, now you are able to see there are huge amount of the Lexus NX official photo flooding the internet. Of course we will not put those amount of images to flood our website. Before showing you some of our selected NX images, let me provide you some specification information first.

– Three models: NX200 (naturally aspirated 2.0L 4-cylinder engine), NX200t (turbo 2.0L  4-cylinder engine) and NX300h (2.5L naturally aspirated Atkinson cycle 4-cylinder engine + hybrid powertrain). Here is the image of the 2.0L Turbo engine:

Here it comes. Along with the Lexus NX debut, Lexus will also presenting a newly designed 2.0L turbo 4 cylinder engine. The NX will come with the 2.0T powerplant, and also a hybrid version.
