Not all auto manufacturers allows you to download their new car’s window sticker online, and anonymously. This may due to concern about customer’s potential privacy.

But this is not the case for Ford. It allows you to download window sticker in high-resolution PDF format, given you know the new car’s VIN. The trick is to enter the specific VIN in an internet address string, and then use your web browser to view that internet address, then you can get the sticker document you want.

It has been rumored since last year that, Ford and GM are working together on the 9-speed (FWD) and 10-speed (RWD) automatic transmissions (the details are, Ford is working on the 10-speed and will supply to GM; in return, GM will work on the 9-speed and supply to Ford).

Now according a report from the Automotive News, the F150 truck will get the 10-speed transmission at the end of 2015 as a 2016 model; and the same will happen on the Mustang too.

Although we do not know the exact timing of this change on each model, we can safely bet you will have a chance to feel the 10-speed in 2016.

Today Ford announced the engine and weight specifications about its newly redesigned 2015 Mustang. Below are some highlights:

– 3.7L V6: 300 hp, 280 lb-ft of torque (down 5 hp compared to the current model); 3,526 lbs (MT) and 3,530 lbs (AT); MSRP starts at $24,425
– 2.3L EcoBoost turbo I4: 310 hp, 320 lb-ft of torque; 3,532 lbs (MT) and 3,524 lbs (AT)
– GT 5.0L V8: 435 hp, 400 lb-ft of torque; 3,705 lbs (MT) and 3,729 lbs (AT)

There is also a Performance Pack option available for both the EcoBoost and 5.0 V8 trim. The option pack includes:

– retuned suspension with revised springs, bushings and mono-tube rear shocks
– thicker rear sway bar
– K-brace (that connects the s...

The biggest change to the 2015 Mustang will be its independent rear suspension, and also structural enhancement to increase the car body rigidity and also the crash protection to its occupants.

But this comes with a price – we just heard that compared to the current generation Mustang, the newly redesigned car will be 200 – 300 lbs heavier.

For sports cars we obviously do not want extra weight. We hope this will not impact the performance of the new Mustang.
