First 2015 Mercedes-Benz LWB C-Class Rolloff Production Line

On 07/25, Mercedes-Benz announced that the production of the long-wheel-base C class officially starts production in the capital city of China – Bejing, and they have a ceremony to celebrate that.

Mercedes-Benz’s China branch – the Beijing Benz Automotive Company, is formerly the Beijing Jeep Corporation, a joint venture with Chrysler. The corporation is the first foreign automotive company in China.

The LWB C-class is 3.15-in longer in the wheel base, total wheel base is 115 inch. The extended C-class has total length of 187.6-in, and will be on sale in mid-August. Models offered are the C200L and C260L.

Bugatti Will Roll Out New Model in 2015/2016

Bugatti Veyron

The Veyron is the only product that Bugatti offers at this time, and it is almost 10 years old (the Veyron was debuted back in 2005).

In a media interview, Walter de Silva, VW Group’s design chief mentioned that Bugatti is already working on a new model which will not just replace the current Veyron, but also “redefine the benchmarks”. This new model will be announced in either late 2015 or early 2016.

Infiniti G37 Will Be Renamed Q40 And Stay Until 2015

Today Infiniti announced that the current G37 sedan will be renamed to Q40, and stay on the market until mid-2015.

Both the Q40 RWD and Q40 AWD will be offered, two packages can be selected:  the Navigation Plus Package and the Moonroof Package.

The development of the current Inifinit G sedan began in 2002, and was debuted back in 2006 as the 2007 model.

Redesigned Audi Q7 Will See SQ7 Model in 2016

During an interview with automotive industry media, Dr. Ulrich Hackenberg, board member for technical development of Audi, revealed that the new generation of the Q7 SUV, will receive the S model treatment, which confirms the existence of the SQ7. The SQ7 will be in the market as a 2016 model.

The SQ7 will come with a turbocharged engine. But one special thing for this engine is that, the turbo is not driven by the exhaust gas, but is powered by a small electric motor, which gets energy a compact-size lithium-ion battery.
