Although there are plently of detailed information regarding the redesigned 2015 Volvo XC90 (which we have covered here, here and here), as of last week we have not seen any news about the MSRP.

Yesterday the Wall Street Journey reported some preliminary information about how much Volvo is asking for its newest flagship SUV, a wide range from $65,000 to a whopping $135,000. Here are original quotes from the WSJ article:

“Priced in the $65,000–$135,000 range, with a sticker rivaling that of BMW’s X5 and Volkswagen’s Audi Q7”

Today Lexus UK announced pricing and package details about the 2015 RC-F. Here are the information (to give you a rough idea of how the RC-F will be priced in US market, in UK, the RX450h starts at £44,495, and the same model sold in US is carrying a price tag of USD $47,445):

– RC-F base: GBP £59,995
– RC-F Carbon edition: £67,995

RC-F base standard features:

If you follows Mercedes-Benz news, you may have already known that for the 2015 model year, there is no more “550” model for the E-class and M-class. Also gone with the E550/ML550 will be the 4.6L twin-turbo V8 engine. The replacement for the E550 and ML550 will be the E400 and ML400, respectively.

The E400 and ML400 will be powered by a 3.0L twin-turbo V6 engine, good for 329 hp and 354 lb-ft of torque. For the output numbers, this is a downgrade. For your reference, the V8 on the E550/ML550 has 402 hp and 443 lb-ft of torque.

Not only the 2015 E400/ML400 has lower power output than the 2014 E550/ML550, but the ML400 is even more expensive than the ML550...

Today there was a rumor that surfaced online that the next generation Corvette may have a mid-engine layout, or will have a mid-engined variant.

First let’s make it clear that Chevrolet does produce a mid-engined Corvette. However, here “a mid-engined Corvette” means Chevy actually only made one unit of such a Corvette, which is the Corvette Daytona Prototype, which Chevrolet created specifically for the 2012 Daytona race. Since Dodge can do a SRT Hellcat trim for the Challenger, there is no technical issue that will prevent Dodge from putting the same powertrain in any of its rear-wheel-drive models.

So obviously we are not surprised that now Dodge has announced the 2015 Charger SRT Hellcat with the same 707hp engine.
