In today’s Beijing auto show, FAW released its new flagship sedan: the HongQi L5.

The HongQi L5 has a wheelbase of 135.2-inch, length is 218.7 inches and weights over 3-ton.

The L5 will be propelled by a FAW-developed, 6.0L V12 naturally aspirated engine, which outputs around 402hp and 406 lb-ft of torque.

This V12 engine is named CA12GV, although the version installed on the HongQi L5 only has fuel port-injection, but the design of the cylinder head and intake manifold have already been optimized for direct-injection...

It is quite amazing that VW takes the blue color theme to another level: even the detailing workers are wearing blue helmets and blue shoe covers.

Today we got the first-hand live photos from the Beijing auto show which is opening tomorrow, for the new W205 Mercedes-Benz LWB C class.

The model to be shown in the auto show is the C260L. However there will be at least two engines available: 1.6L turbo-4 and 2.0L turbo-4. The C260L engine output is 211hp, 258 lb-ft torque, paired to the 7G-tronic automatic transmission.

In the last few days we reported Toyota is planning to release a new mid-size sedan in the Chinese market, during the Beijing auto show. While someone is claiming that is just a US version Corolla, now the myth is gone. This car is not called Corolla.

The new sedan’s name is Toyota Levin. It has a length of 4630mm (US Corolla is 4638mm), height is 1480mm (US Corolla is 1455.42). Two engine options are available: 1.6L and 1.8L 4-cylinder. Despite the US Corolla only has automatic transmission, the Levin can be also equipped with mannual transmission.

The brake lights of the Levin are composed of more than 50 LEDs, the lighting effect makes the signature of this model.
