Apr.18, 2014 update: Today I received the email notice from Cadillac telling me the $100 gift card is coming.
YouWheel.com editor attended the Cadillac $100 test drive event last week, and here is a brief process description.
1. Go to Cadillac’s website, click at the “Take A Test Drive” button;
2. In the “request a test drive” page, fill in all necessary information (I did try multiple times, select different dealership and different car models combinations), then click the “Send Request” button;
3. The dealership will contact you to schedule the test drive (I waited about 5 hours to receive the first email response from the selected dealer);
4. Cadillac assigned each dealership a quota (of how many this $100 gift card test drive can this dealer has). For example the dealership I went to has a total of 150 quota and I am the 130th customer to take the test drive. So if you want to take advantage of this event, you should better act quickly.
If your dealership sales does not know how to enter your information for the $100 gift card, you can ask him to go to this GM website.
