Exclusive: Latest Spy Shot of The Buick Envision

The Buick Envision is a SUV with two rows of seats, which is still under testing currently and is expected to be revealed later this year. GM has positioned the Envision between the lower Encore and the upper Enclave, and it is only planned to be sold in the Chinese market at this moment.

However we believe this new model will make its way to the states if its sales performance did well in China. Today we got two new spy shots about the interior of the Envision, and it is the first time we can take a look inside the car.

Transmission shifter and center console. We see there is an “off-road” button on it, according to GM, the Envision will have a completely-new designed AWD system.

Center console, you can see there is a mechanical clock sitting on the right of the LCD screen; there is also a engine start-stop button below the clock.

Two engine options will be offered on the Envision: a 2.4L SIDI 4-cylinder engine and the 2.0T turbo 4-cylinder engine, which is also used on the Cadillac ATS. The 2.0T engine in the Envision will has different tuning than the one found in the ATS. It is expected to output 256 hp and  260 lb-ft of torque.

For the exterior, GM has previously released a teaser, from it we can imagine the shape of the Envision will be the same style as the Encore and Enclave.

So glad to finally get a glimpse of what the Envision is going to look like. I like the outside looks and the specks, when do we get to know the inside specks and ground clearance. I like to know it all. . . . To know what I am saving my money for. The Buick Envision will be my next purchase. The only thing I don’t care for is the huge sky light. Would prefer a smaller one, but won’t keep me from getting the Envision. I have been waiting for this size Buick SUV ever since you came out with the Enclave which was way too big for my likes. Then you came out with the Encore which is too small. Finally you have hit the mark, a nice size SUV for MOST people. .
