2015 Mercedes C-Class IIHS Crash Test Result Released

The Mercedes-Benz W205 C class was initially announced in the 2014 Detroit auto show, and has been on sale for a couple months. Compared to the previous W204 C class, the new generation is using aluminum alloy extensively in the car body construction.

Gallery: 2015 Mercedes-Benz Long Wheelbase C Class

While the US market will not receive the LWB version of the W205 C class, it is still good for us to check out the 2015 C260L.

The W205 LWB has a wheelbase of 115 inches, and will start to arrive in dealership lots this July, for the Chinese market. US dealerships will receive the new 2015 C class sedan two months later.

Exclusive: Mercedes-Benz W205 C class long wheelbase version revealed

Two weeks ago we show you the latest spy shot of the W205 long wheelbase C class photos.

Today we got the first-hand live photos from the Beijing auto show which is opening tomorrow, for the new W205 Mercedes-Benz LWB C class.

The model to be shown in the auto show is the C260L. However there will be at least two engines available: 1.6L turbo-4 and 2.0L turbo-4. The C260L engine output is 211hp, 258 lb-ft torque, paired to the 7G-tronic automatic transmission.
