Facelifted 2016 Mercedes-Benz G-Class Announced

Last month, we have reported the 2016 model year GL-class is going to replace its old 4.7L V8 with the latest M177 4.0L twin-turbo V8 engine. Today Mercedes-Benz announced its second move on the V8 engine swapping: the current 5.5L naturally aspirated V8 (M273) used on the G500/G550 will go for good, and the new turbo-charged M177 4.0L V8 is going to assume its role.

Mercedes-Benz has announced the GLE Class (the current M-Class with a new name) last Thursday. Today we bring you live photos of the GLE and also the GLE Coupe from the 2015 NY auto show.

– The GLE300d is the current ML250 BlueTEC
– The GLE350 is the current ML350
– The GLE400 is the current ML400
– New model: GLE550e 4Matic, 329hp V6 + 114hp electric motor, combined output: 436hp, 479 lb-ft of torque
– The Mercedes-AMG GLE63 output upgraded to 550hp (from current ML63 AMG’s 518hp); GLE63 S output is 577hp

2015 Mercedes-AMG C63 US Pricing Released

The latest W205 C class AMG models will be on sale this April, and Mercedes-Benz has released its pricing today. For your reference, there are a total of 2 AMG models for the C class: the C63 (469 hp, 479 lb-ft of torque) and also the C63 S (503 hp with 516 lb-ft of torque).

Officially Announced: The 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLE Class

Please do not be confused by its name: the 2016 Mercedes GLE Class is not a new model, it is just the current M Class with a new name.
