2015 Hyundai Sonata US market official information

We have reported almost information for the 2015 Sonata several weeks ago, in this post.

The only major specs that we have to update today is the engine output. In the US market, the Sonata has two engines for customer to choose from.

The 2.4L naturally aspirated 4-cylinder engine outpus 185hp and 178 lb-ft of torque. You may see it is down a little bit compared to the current Sonata (190hp, 179 lb-ft). This is because the Hyundai engineers shift the toruqe curve to let the engine generate more torque in low engine RPM .

The 2.0L turbo 4-cylinder engine makes 245hp and 260 lb-ft of torque, down from the current Sonata 2.0T’s 274hp, 269 lb-ft torque...

Toyota will reveal a new mid-size sedan on 4/18

Toyota is going to release a new mid-size sedan, which is believed to sit between the Corolla and Camry, in the Chinese market.

To see why this makes a business case, first let’s see what the competition in the market right now is. In China, Honda has a model called Crider, which fill the gap between the Civic and Accord. It has a 104.3 inches wheelbase and comes with the 1.8L engine which it shares with the Civic. The Crider has a MacPherson front suspension, and a torsion beam for the rear suspension. A normal Crider carries a MSRP which approximately half the price of an Audi A3 sedan.

Below is the exterior and interior of the Honda Crider.

Are your car’s parts overpriced?

If your car is totaled and you need to take care of it yourself, do not sell the whole car to the junk yard. To make the most of money out of it, you should disassemble the car into different parts (for example engine, transmission, wheels, interior panels, stereos etc.), and sell them seperately. The total money you get from selling these parts will be way more than you selling the car as a whole.

If you have doubt, you can find out all the part numbers related to your car, and go to the dealership to check each parts’ individual price. Then you add them together, and you will find the total sum will be much higher than your car’s MSRP.

So here comes the term of parts-w...
