Cadillac Flagship Sedan Will be Announced in Early 2015

You may challenge the rule that, a “true” luxury brand need to have a full-size sedan to prove the brand’s position; but at least most of the luxury brands in the world are doing this. Even for some brand that did not have in the past, are planning to do this – for example the Volvo S100 we reported a while ago.

Lexus NX200t Turbo Engine to Get High Output Version?

The upcoming 2015 Lexus NX200t is equipped with the first turbocharged engine within the whole Lexus history. This engine has the Toyota internal code name “8AR-FTS”.

The 8AR-FTS has an 2.0L displacement with an open-deck, midi-skirt type aluminum cylinder block. It also has a fully balanced forged steel crankshaft, cast-in iron cylinder liners.

2015 Cadillac ATS-V to be Debuted at The Los Angeles Auto Show

Today GM announced that it is going to announce the 2015 ATS-V sedan at this November’s Los Angeles auto show.

The ATS-V will be powered by a twin-turbo 3.6L V6 engine, which can be also found on the current CTS VSport sedan (please note that CTS VSport is NOT the CTS-V).

Report: 2015 Cadillac Escalade Information

Today GM released some information regarding the 2015 model year Escalade. Below are major mechanical updates and feature changes:

– A new 8-speed automatic transmission (replaces the previous 6-speed AT)
– 2-speed transfer case with off-road gear for AWD models
– New electronic features as standard in all trims: surround view camera, 4G LTE connectivity, hands-free closing functionality for the electric tailgate
– New Escalade Platinum trim with lots of luxury options, MSRP starts at $90,270 (not includint $995 destination charge)

Side Profile Comparison: The 2015 Cadillac ATS vs. ATS-L

Following Cadillac releasing powertrain spec for the 2015 ATS long-wheel-base version, now we also get a side profile comparison between the ATS sedan and the ATS-L, as shown below. The ATS-L has a 3.35-in longer wheelbase than the standard version.
