The 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show will open to the public starting November 21 (this coming Friday).

But auto makers will debut their new models before that. The new vehicle debut will take place on November 19 and 20, open to auto industry media and press staffs. During those two days, we will post live photos and videos in real time on our Facebook , Twitter &Google+ pages.   If you can’t make it then we will bring the LA Auto Show to you, bringing you the hottest new cars the auto industry has to offer!

What other lighting technology is being used?

LED headlights are no longer uncommon in the automobile industry, now even the Corolla LE comes as standard.

We’re not sure if you’ve heard, but some luxury brands are moving onto other types of illumination technology such as the laser headlights developed by BMW and Audi. But Mercedes-Benz seems to stick to the conservative way, which keeps its faith in the LED route.

Despite switching to other lighting sources, Mercedes-Benz is planning to add more LEDs into one headlight unit. Currently, the CLS-class has 24 LEDs in each of its high beam module...

2015 Hyundai Genesis Test Drive

We had a chance to test drive the 2015 Hyundai Genesis sedan. Let’s see what we had to say about it!

The Genesis we test drove is the 5.0 V8 RWD trim, with the Ultimate Package worth of $3,250. Total MSRP is $55,855 (including $950 S&H). I mean, if we are going to test drive something, we are going to do it right!

The 2015 Genesis is classified as a mid-size luxury sedan, however we don’t consider it to be mid-size only, because it qualifies as the “full-size” name in almost all aspects. For example, the Genesis sedan has a wheelbase of 118.5in, even longer than the Audi A8 (of 117.8in) and the Lexus LS (of 116.9in)...

People who are looking for a full-size luxury sedan will typically go for the Mercedes-Benz S-class, BMW 7 Series, Audi A8 and also the Lexus LS. The Infiniti Q70L is actually based on a mid-size sedan with stretched wheelbase to make it qualify for the “full size” category.
