Tesla Announced Free Charger and Free Installation in China Market

When you purchase a Tesla Model S in US, it only comes with a free mobile connector as standard. This mobile connector only lets you charge your Model S using the regular 110V household outlet, provides 29 miles of range per hour.

If you want to charge the Model S faster, you need to use Tesla’s Wall Connector, which is installed on a 240 volt circuit, and supplies up to twice the amperage as a regular 110V outlet. However for US market this is not free: it cost you $750 for the parts, plus the installation labor.

Officially Announced: the Mercedes-Benz G500 4x4² Concept

One month ago, we have reported that Mercedes is also working on a 4-wheel version of its G63 AMG 6X6 truck.

Today Mercedes-Benz finally announced this rumored truck, and its official name is called “G500 4x4²”. You can simply think this truck to be the previous G63 AMG 6X6 sans two wheels, and replaced with a different engine. Below are some key features:

– M177 4.0L twin-turbocharged V8 engine, output: 422hp
– Permanent all-wheel-drive with low range gears; Front/center/rear fully lockable differentials
– Portal axles
– Two dampers per wheel, one of them is electronically adjustable

Next Generation Mercedes-AMG E63 Is AWD Only

The current Mercedes-Benz E-Class (W212) has been around since 2009 as the 2010 model, and the new W213 generation E-Class is going to debut as soon as next year.

That is not the end of the story: Audi will debut the wagon version of this concept, called the “Prologue Avant Concept”, in next month’s Geneva motor show.
