Today Porsche released information about the 2015 model year Cayenne. Below are some highlights.

– All trim models are still using the Aisin sourced 8-speed automatic transmission (Tiptronic S). NOT the PDK as some people’s guess from some previous spy shots
– Cayenne Turbo get LED headlight as standard; other models have Bi-Xenon headlight by default
– Four point LED daytime running light
– New multifunction sport steering wheel for all trims

Maybe you have read our report yesterday regarding new V8s that Lexus is working on currently.

Well, there are reasons that Lexus develops those new engines, and it looks like that is a part of a big plan Lexus is gruadually unfolding, step by step, and cautiously.

The first part of the plan is the next generation LS flagship sedan. Two years ago, when Lexus revealed the “new” LS, some of us were disappointed by the fact that the new flagship sedan, is actually not a “real” new design...

Today Audi announced that it is going to phase out its continuously variable transmission (CVT), which can be seen some of Audi’s front-wheel-drive model trims, such as the current A4 FWD.

For current Audi models that aure using the CVT, the transmission will be offered until the end of life span of each current model generations...

As we are approaching the market release date of the completely-new Lexus RC-F, speculations of how Lexus will do for its V8 engines in the next few year starts to emerge.

As we know the 5.0L V8 engine in the RC-F is based on the firm’s 2UR-GSE V8, which is currently used in the IS-F, but with significant modification and enhancement to push maximum output way more than the 450 hp mark.

At the same time, Lexus’ flagship sedan: the LS460, although with many impressive features, it lag behind its German rivals, such the Mercedes-Benz S550, the BMW 750i, the Audi A8, in engine output. The LS460’s 1UR-FSE 4...

There will be multiple engine options for the 2015 Ford F-150 truck, today Ford released some information about the V6 engine options.

Two V6 engines will be offered for the 2015 model:

– 3.5L naturally aspirated V6, 283 hp and 255 lb-ft of torque: this will be the entry-level option, when the F150 is equipped with this engine, its maximum payload is 1,910 lbs and towing capacity reaches 7,600 lbs.

– 2.7L EcoBoost turbo V6, 325 hp and 375 lb-ft of torque, with stop/start feature. Maximum payload is 2,250 lbs and it can tow a maximum of 8,500 lbs.
